BYD Hits 100,000 Sales Milestone in Australia: Shark 6 Leads the Charge

BYD Australia has reached a historic milestone, delivering its 100,000th vehicle to a customer in Brisbane this April 2026. This achievement comes less than three and a half years after the brand local debut in late 2022.

The landmark vehicle, a blue Shark 6 plug-in hybrid ute, was handed over to a Queensland customer. This model highlights BYD shift in dominance; while the Atto 3 kicked off the journey, it is the new Shark 6 and Sealion 7 that are now propelling the brand.
